OCDshaver and Utopian and whoever can make it early, we can start at 10:30. obviously some guys may still show up at 1200, but that gives us sometime to work then the next group etc. Ron, you can come over about 930 if you would like and we can start getting set up. Hope this helps you guys out. My wife leaves for work typically at 900. Drive safe, try and stay warm and waiting patiently for Saturday to arrive.
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

Thank you for being such an accommodating host. I'm not sure what others are bringing along but should I bring the hones I have? I planned on bringing along my two Jnats as they seem like good options for guys like us that are simply honing our own razors. Anyone interested in going down that path might find them worth seeing. The only other stone of interest would be the Suehiro 20K. I don't want your home over run but I can bring everything or none at all. My main agenda in my abbreviated visit will be to see if I can get some advice on a few tough blades that are harder to dial in. I'll be happy to bring some morning coffee for us as well.

I'll be bringing a set of Suehiros, so there is no great need for you to bring your 20k, especially since you will only be there part of the time. JNats are all different though, so I think we would all appreciate seeing yours. I'll be bringing some JNats too, from "bevel setters" to finishers, as well as some nagura stones. Since this is a honing meet-up, I think everyone should bring any hone they want to use, get lapped, ask about, or just show off that day.

I'm not going to be bringing pinning supplies, but I can bring a couple of small hammers and an anvil so we can probably tighten up your pivot. It will only take a couple of minutes.

Ugh, we're supposed to get 8-10 inches of snow overnight... going to make that drive a little slower.

Yeah, I had a slow drive and a slower start but made it to my motel at 3:30 AM and am now only 10 minutes away from the meet-up location. I think I can make it as long as I wake up on time!

Gonzo, I will try to get there between 9:30 and 10:00.

I'm leaving my house around 10:30, and it's usually a 45-55 minute drive. Hope to arrive close to 12.
    Keep your pivot dry!

Great meeting all of you this afternoon. Special thanks to our host Bob for taking the lead on organizing and hosting. And also special thanks to Ron for bringing a staggering number of quality hones and doing his best to assist in stabilizing a very chippy razor that has been giving me fits. I had no idea of the quantity I would have seen at once. If we do this again I'll come better prepared with a few more blades that will require some work and make better use of the variety at hand. Hope you guys had a great afternoon.
