You have heard of the Zulu grey hone...I have one to give away.

But for a limited time you can get a killer deal on one...

    code: ashevillezulu is now active.

It will apply a 25% discount to whatever is in the basket. I will then make
a note to also include a free slurry stone with orders that used the coupon
    code.

    Thanks again,
    - Mike

Most of you know him as Walleyeman, you have seen his work in the classifieds, show and tell as well as the brush makers alcove on several websites. Ray will be coming in for the meetup. I don't know if he will have any brushes or not, we can only hope. The reason I am bringing this to your attention, Ray is a wealth of knowledge in brushes when it comes to building and repair. I would encourage you to ask questions of him, as he is not one of those men that is self promoting, but when asked he is willing to help and share,

As you can see his work speaks for itself.

Wow!! Those are absolutely gorgeous. I definitely want to get a closer look at those and talk with Ray.

Ray is a great guy to talk with for sure. When I went out to KC I had a chance to see his shop, top shelf for sure. One heck of a guy and willing to share his knowledge and more than willing to help

I think the golden nib is the source for most peoples' knots but I don't know where Ray gets his.

I will be heading to Chicago tomorrow night for the meet-up there on Saturday. I will be testing out a video feed connection for my stereo-microscope. I'm hoping that I can get this to work so that people don't have to squint one at a time into the eyepieces but instead will all be able to see it on a screen. It will be great if everyone can see what we're talking about all at the same time and all looking at exactly the same thing. I will be thrilled if this works as well as I hope it will!

No idea but the one he put in my handle is absolutely amazing. After I started using it it occurred to me that "So this is what a shaving brush is supposed to feel like". Its the best brush I have in my collection.

    Rick,

You're not helping my addiction to all things associated with Straights - I just bought my first Zulu Grey.

I'm also interested in checking out one of those scuttles by Georgetown Pottery. Will those products and the others listed on the donating vendors website be available for inspection at the meet?

    Thanks,

    Brian
