I just called The Garlic Knot and reserved the meeting room for July 19th. We're on!

    Ok gents

If you have a Norton or Naniwa 1k please bring it to the meet we need at least 3

Let's see if we can't prove or disprove the 3 Stone Lapping system,, it has been brought up enough times over the years lets see what happens

I'll be bringing a Chosera. We can actually do all of our testing with two stones as we only need 3 surfaces. Two to test the 2 surface method, and then a third to get those back to flat after the test.

Edit; Doh! We do need three stone as there is no way to lap two surfaces of the same stone against each other.

I've got three pieces of marble tile the same size that we can use with SiC that I will also bring, instead of grinding away our Choseras.

I can bring a norton combo. 220/1k and a norton flatening stone if that helps.
