Thread: So. Cal, LA mini meet

So I have been talking with a few new guys about getting together to do some honing,

As it turned out, as of this morning, we are all available this Saturday, so we are meeting at my place in Diamond Bar, This Saturday at 10 am, 4 have agreed to meet, so far.

Not a full Meet, just a honing, Mini meet.

Anybody is welcome, should be in the 80’s this weekend, PM me if you’re coming so we have enough seating for everyone. Bring your razors, hones and strops…

I just wanted to give a "shout out" to Marty @Euclid440 for hosting the mini get together yesterday. I apologize for not getting photos to post, but I was too busy honing all the razors I brought. While it was small with only 4 of us there, there was so much learning and sharing that I felt my honing skills were improved ten fold. You can watch all the videos by guys such as Lynn and Glen, but it isn't until you get a chance to sit down with someone and use the tools that you really gain and understanding for the "art" of honing.

Marty is patient with everyone and he is an amazing teacher. He and his wife are gracious and sharing in opening their home to guests and I have to say if you ever get a chance to attend one of his meet-ups. DO IT!!
