I'll put in a small gas forge that can weld. I have lots of 20# tanks, but none of them are full, and my bulk tank I fill them out of is empty. We will need to stack the ends up with brick, but I have a load of soft bricks I can bring along, they just don't last very long at high temp. I will throw a pile of stuff in and we'll see what happens. Looking forward to meeting you Charlie, and seeing Mike, and meeting Bruno and Lynn in person. Should be a good time. Hoping to learn also.

I really want to go, especially since it is in my home state! My Harley needs a frame swap which will be happening soon. New handlebars & tank repair & she'll be good to go. I would most likely have to get my best friend to come by, feed my dog & let him out to do his thing. Maybe next year or possibly since Tom lives nearby we might figure a way to ride up there in a more suitable vehicle, who knows? Bob Allman lives across town in Baytown so he really isn't that far either. Bill, aka str8razor wrote me & said he would come by & get me but it was a little out of the way but thanks for the thought Bill, I greatly appreciate it. I really would love to meet many of the faces behind the computer screen. I know a few faces from video's & such. I really would love to see some forgin', razor makin', honing & lots of rocks, strops, scale makin' & anything else razor related! I know I could learn a thing or two. We have had a warm winter this year so I am dreading the upcoming summer. January & February are the coldest months here & the other day we had 75 degree weather & it's February!!! I had to turn on the AC for awhile then back to heat later that night.
I love all you guys & I love this forum. I have peeked in on other forums but haven't joined & SRP has the most knowledgable people I know of. Thank you Lynn for putting up with me. You guys rock!

Hey, we all have to put up with you.

It's not too late yet. Maybe you still can finagle a ride somehow someway.

You could always rent a car. That's what I'm doing.
