Home safe and sound, left the house 17 hours ago. Thats a long day.

Brad thank you for hosting the event, it was great. I very much liked the store and your work shop. Space doesnt seem to be a issue.

Afterwards I thought, man I should have taken more pics.

    Here's one.

Nate Zowada on the left, with the beard, was the only guy there with a strop, so I had him strop 2 of my blades I honed. The guy back left was a Barbering student who wanted to learn to hone with his brand new Norton 220/1000 and 4000/8000 stones. I think he picked up a lot from Jonathan (Uktrasoundguy.) He's the big guy sitting down. The other big guy back right, use to work for Heart steel making razors, and is now making his own customs. Can't remember the name. We all had a fantastic conversation about razors and finishing hones.

Great picture. The guy standing is JD. He used to work for Hart razors. Now his is with "Through the Fire." I need to google that.
Thanks Brad for you shop, the Hospitality and am all around good time.
I really enjoyed the meet. New and Old alike all are true gemtlemen. Wow 300 plus razors between just you men from Canada.
Way to bring it strong. While just a pleasure to sit and pick everyones brains.
Your only as good as your last hone job.

So remember how I was nervous about getting back into Canada with all those blades..... The Canadian border guard shaves with a shavette and had 2 of his Grandfathers straights. Ha! The three of us encouraged him to come here to SRP and learn about them, and also learn to use them. He was very interested. So funny.

Slowly, but surely, we will expand our numbers! And should some sort of cataclysm befall the earth, turning society back to around the industrial revolution, we will have job security as barbers! Hair cuts weren't fancy back in the day; but a skilled hand with a straight brought you a long way!

    Mwuahahahaha!!!

Pay me no mind. Work last night at work was supposed to be the first relatively easy day I've had in weeks, but I got bumped to the roughest job in the plant. I'm feelin a bit wacky as a result lol.

I really thought the boarder guard was going to give us a hard time, he looked pissed at the people in front of us. But the moment we said we were coming home from a straight razor meet he seemed to brighten right up.
