Thread: Nebraska Meet and Greet?

We’ve had a few more Nebraskans join the forum lately. Would there be any interest in a local get-together?

If there is interest, would anyone know of a good place we could meet for a few hours or more on a weekend day?

I'm interested, but I have no clue where a good place to meet would be.

I should add that there were just two meetups in the Midwest (Iowa and Indiana), which may make it more difficult to organize something right away.

I was thinking of August or September, possibly in a restaurant party room, if no better option presents itself.

Best thing to do would be contact Randydance, (Randy Tuttle ) he might help you out with a mailing of people n your area and give you some advice on how to proceed. As for it being to close to the other meets I wouldn't worry about it. Plus keep the thread active.

There is a meet in July but then again it's in Colorado. I can't think f any ne else, ther than Ron, (Utopian) to ask advise from, but if you get 2-3 guys together it,ll be worth it and it may grow. Plus there s quite a few members in the Kansas City area. Tc

That made me smile, because that really is all that it takes to get it started. Who knows? You might even make a few new friends!

I am going to Lincoln this weekend and will be passing through in early August.

Pick a place/date you can't please everyone.

As said 2 or 3 is a great start.

Not this weekend but It has been getting used a fair amount this summer.

Yep you never know, 2-3 people could turn into 10 easily, Tim, I won't be missing you by much, I,ll be rolling thru Nebraska in about a week r two.
