Thread: Medina, OH Meetup 11/5/2016

Yeah...nice pics Pete. It was awesome to finally put faces with names, to put closure to the unknown stones I've collected from the wild, and to learn about the others I've never seen before. It was a real treat to have our master honers (Nelson & Lynn) there together, and to receive a exceptional passing grade from Nelson for my honing and stropping skills, which were for the most part were self taught.

Its also brought to me the reality of how tightly knit this community really is, and how SRP has become another family to all here.

A little advice to those that have not been to a meet...."Go"!!!!
The doors of knowledge , friendship, and camaraderie will blow off the hinges before your very eyes.

What Mike said, go to a meet, I was shaving for almost 2-1/2 years before going to one. Learned more in that meet than I did for all those years. Also meeting up with guys you have conversed with is great too.
Pete good to put a face with the name, and Lynn's a pretty good guy to hang with too( I,m bringing some cigars to Charlie's along with whiskey) so hope to see Lynn again, or if not we're going to have to ride some day.

Wish I could have made that one too, but n the bright side I made 3 meet ups this year, and I wouldnt trade the memories for anything. Tc

Yep, the memories.....
The only thing we can take with us in the end, and the most priceless gift from any meet up.
