After all that time, I finally asked the guy how much longer I had to continue it and he replied that it was completely voluntary. Given that he had not helped me in 7 years, I stood up, walked out, and never saw him again.

My impediment often bugs me, and makes me self-conscious, but others tell me that they are not aware of it. I wish you better luck than I had, if it is your desire to change.

Seriously I did not or have ever noticed one. I think that you are overly conscious of it.

Thanks, but it is a bit gravelly and horse. People ask if I have something wrong with my throat so I give them the ten word version of the acid reflux story.
