Meet for Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota

Where: rolodave's house outside of Racine.

When: April 29,30

Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa Meet April 29,30 2017
There will be a meet at my place on the last weekend of April.

I live outside of Racine about 300 miles southeast from Utopian or 25 miles from the Illinois line.


There are a number of motels within 3 miles of my house. It should not be a problem getting a room.

All wet shavers will find others sharing their passion. We will do the usual things of

Honing
Scaling
Pinning
Grinding
Restoring
Stropping
Shaving
Lathering

Using a Jnat has been requested as a class. Anyone with Jnat skills is welcome to contribute.

Bring your gear to show, trade or sell.

PM me if you can attend. Directions and such will be sent in PMs.

If you do not live in one of the four states you are still welcome to attend.

1)honing skills especially using what jnats I have
2)wedges for scales
3)scales and pinning

If someone has shapton professional stones, would like to try them out. Would like to try out some other jnats too.

I think I only have the Shapton Pro 1k, 1.5k, and 2k. However, Randydance has the full set.

Dave, the Shapton Pro has a 15k but not a 16k.

Don't need the whole spectrum, maybe what you have plus the 5k. I will bring my hones too. Looking forward to honing with you again Ron and finally meeting Randy. I appreciate you taking the long drive and bringing sharing a great weekend together.

Sorry Dave I can't make it, it is too close to crew change for me to be able to make the flights home. I do expect to see some pictures though!
