Thanked: 4206Amen to a good GTG and great weather for it.
Phrank, Mcbladescar, harrywally and Rickmccarey
Orville, phrank, and Mcbladescar with trilliumLT in the ball cap
Trillium testing the edge on a hatchet
Not in pictures cause we were too busy on the stones or in the kitchen, straightshooter007, and new member swifty2point0.
A great time with some good men, and awesome razors.
Thanks to phrank for letting me shave with his royal windsor Egyptian Ottoman, a once in a life time shave that shall be remembered.
And to Harrywally for the elder burl hunks that I cannot wait to work with this coming fall.
Bourbon, CDN whiskey, cigars, razors and pulled pork. Not a bad end to the weekend, and in my case, a weeks vacation.
Cheers men and thanks all for coming.."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

I assume this is Chris(?) . . . hope your honing lessons will allow you to succeed with that blade, where I could not. Good luck.

Thanked: 4206Chris was swifty, Marty is 007.
Think he got some good exposure to some great stones.
And made a kicking potato salad I might add. . Apple chunks in there gave a nice sweetness and crunch. Thought it was a few raw potatoes at first, hehe.
Glad you liked your Scuttle, Mike's wife has them dialed in right nicely!

Thanks Guys had a great time as usual. Thank you Mike for hosting and putting on a good spread of food and drinks.
I have to say one of the best things about going to the meets is just hang out with you guys. Knowledge is shared freely and honestly. Getting to try different razors, brushes, shaving soaps/creams, and aftershave is not something that happens normally.
Defenently a cool experience to not only shave with one of the rarest razors on the planet but to put it to a hone ( I was a little scared to do so, even though it was just to touch it up)
Good times boys we need to do this more often.
