If you have honing stones definitely bring those. That way we can demonstrate on the stones that you will actually be using. If you don't have stones yet, you will be able to try different stones at the meet and see which you might like. Strops are also good to bring. Dull razors often leave the meet shave ready.

Getting some hands on honing with Bluesman7 as a mentor will be a great help to you if you dont have honing down yet. He helped me a couple times. Bring everything you need for honing to start with.

I just PMed him about mentoring. I most definitely do not have it down! Going to practice some more tonight.

He will be happy to sit down with you at the meet if nothing else. You will come away from the gathering with a little more understanding of honing. But remember, this is not somethi g you learn in one sitting.

Count me in for sure. Got the day off work. As if they wouldnt give it to me. Ha. I will bring my rocks and a couple dozon razors to show off and a strop. Hoping for a big turn out. See you all there.
