Thanked: 81Montreal meetup 2018
I'd love to have a Montreal meetup this summer. Who's in?

Depends on the date: if I'm free, I'm in too.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 81I’m pretty busy until the beginning of August, although I could find the time. But August or September are better for me.

Thanked: 81well, even though they haven't replied to this post, AlanQ and Malaverdiere both told me they're interested. I also might be able to bring in a couple others I know who aren't on the forum. So let's start talking dates!
I believe Alan would prefer Sundays, at the moment they're his only guaranteed days off. So how about August 19 or 26?

Thanked: 81Hi guys,
I guess August isn't so good for everybody. In any case, neither of my proposed dates work for me now, so here are a couple of new suggestions: August 12 or September 9.

Aloha!
OK, this is a long shot, but I am tentatively going to be in Albany, NY (just south of you) around September 9. IF that would work out, I would certainly rent a car and drive up to meet you fine gentlemen.
So if the stars align, and if all works out, I can "Possibly" make it. But please do not hold me to that because coming from Hawaii, it's not going to be easy to make this meet because my schedule can change quickly. I don't want my possible visit to influence your dates. If I can make it, I will. And if I do make it, you will have to excuse my French. I lived in Paris for a few years as a younger man, so I spoke Parisian French. But my French is not doing very well these days. Personne ne parle Français à Hawaii, donc je ne pratique pas mon Français. Québécois sometimes throws me for a loop. Other times I can understand it fairly well. So if I do make it, hopefully it will be mostly English. If not, I'll do my best with my out of practice French.
I'll watch the thread, and start looking at hotel choices in metro Montreal. I'm "fairly" familiar with the city having visited on several occasions for the Montreal Jazz Festival. I have a NEXUS card, so I can get across the border easily. I love Canada.
Merci et a bientot!
Oh, and MAHALO! (I also speak a little bit of Hawaiian)

Thanked: 81I hope it works out, it would be great if you could join us!
I'm willing to bet the meet (if it happens) would be primarily in English, although I'm pretty sure all of the wet shavers I've met in town are bilingual (at the least).
I've spent some time in Hawaii, I absolutely loved it there. I was really into cycling at the time, and the roads and scenery were incredible. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
