15th National Shaving Collectibles Meeting
Wet-shavers will be gathering on October 13, 2018, in West Chester, Ohio, for a fun-filled afternoon. Attractions for this event include:
vintage and antique shaving collectibles on display, including safety and straight razors, brushes, strops and hones, blade banks, shaving mugs, and razor blades. Many of these items will be for sale. Prepare to be like a child set free in a candy shop!
a Barbers’ Forum for answering questions, such as how to prepare one’s beard for shaving, the best way to shave with either a safety razor or a straight-edge razor, and use of pre-shave and after-shave lotions.
a station where you can learn more about sharpening, honing, and stropping of your prized shaving possessions.
You will also have an opportunity to talk with warm and friendly individuals who have been collecting shaving memorabilia for a great many years and who would be happy to share their knowledge with you.
The gathering is sponsored by the 15th National Shaving Collectibles Meeting. People from this group, who have been meeting annually since 2004, will be available to answer your questions. See in person those rare collectibles you only read about or see in pictures.
ADMISSION for the Wet-Shaver Meet-Up is $5 at the door.
