I see a bunch of wedges, a few pieces that might make inlays and some beads in those scraps Randy. I like the idea of making brushes.

I for 1 am thankful for being surrounded by such great minds..
Been looking for videos on grinding a full hollow, I can’t seem to find any how too’s.
I have a new sequence where I first make it into a ~quarter hollow, then a half hollow, then a full hollow. So you will get all of the practical experience of doing the first two grinds before you scrap it trying the full hollow.:rofl2:
Well, some people scrap it at the half hollow stage. :rofl2::rofl2:
I’ll be happy if I learn anything, I figure I’ll start with names, screw those up, then worry about razors, and then also screw those up.
I just hope I don’t get blind sided by the forging bug, I always planned on just doing stock removal if I ever get a belt grinder. The problem I see is that forging seems like a far more practical way to get close to final form and save in material and time.
