Thanked: 113Gents I should be able to make it, it's been a while since I've seen your mug shots, super excited!
Victor, thank you again for coordinating this event!
I strongly encourage every CO member/visitor to this forum (and others, of course) to join. Knowledge that is shared during the event is invaluable, not to mention a great company to be around!
Come and spend quality time with wet shaving aficionados!
Cheers.

Scott, from Captains Choice, has sent us 8 sample packs for the meet. The packs have samples of soaps, balms, and I assume aftershaves.

I have decided to not attend the meet. I have been having trouble with my hearing for the last several years and it has continued to worsen. When I am in a crowd I can't understand what is going on so I have decided to stay home.
I have one of the Captain's Choice copper shaving bowls and it really whips up a good lathe, to warm it up I soak it in hot water for several minutes or bake it in a convection oven, use a digital thermometer to monitor the temperature so as not to damage the protective lacquer (I set the oven for 150 degrees and use a infrared thrmometer.)
Have fun at the meet
