Thanked: 292I hope to make it this year, at least part of the weekend.
This may be my last year attending the Wisconsin meet unless I ride with Vic from Denver. My son-in-law has received a job offer in the Denver area and will be moving there from Virginia in about three weeks. My wife and I have lived 900 miles from our daughter and granddaughter, so we have played little role in our granddaughter's life. She will be starting high school in August, so we are planning to move to Colorado Springs to be able to participate in her final years at home so we can get to know her before she leaves for college. For many older couples, watching grandchildren grow up is one of their primary joys, but it is one we have largely missed.
Thus, in the future, I may be attending the Denver meet rather than the one in Wisconsin. I do look forward to meeting Gasman and others out in the Denver area.

My father and I shall be there for at least one of days! I have a few blades needing a home, so this is an awesome opportunity to at least get some shaping done on the scale material languishing unused on my bench!

Thanked: 2209Yes, I will be there!
This has been a very good razor meet each time. Lots of stuff to do and learn and some very good instructors with a ton of experience.
Plus, it has two of the best hosts you could ever meet.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

Preparing Hose Strips
I have two hoses I want to run through the washer a few times.
Bring any you want to wash. If they are already pasted scrub them clean.
Bring clamps to hang them to dry.
The goal is to follow the kanayama directions as best we can.
Let me know how many you are bringing. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.
