I will bring along a couple of propane cylinders also.
Fuel seems cheaper down there so I may have to fill them before Saturday.

True. Esp the big forge uses a lot of fuel. Of all your forges, I like that one best. It does take more fuel to heat, but it's big enough for 2 billets / blades without risking burning them to a crisp. And it's so big that the internal heat will bring a billet / blade back to forging temp in a very short amount of time.

I’ll be coming from OKC, not sure if that helps, thehattr? I’m in the same boat though, looking to carpool and help offset the rental car cost a little.
