Sorry to hear that you're on duty!

So yes as Randy said, I will be present, turning bacon calories into hammer strikes!
Also there will be Daniel O Connor. He's a friend of Howard and mine. He will be there on Friday and Saturday probably. He will bring his no-scale product and his hamon clay which are both superb. If you make knives you HAVE to check it out. No more handsanding AFTER heat treatment.

Howard may or may not be swinging by.

I will bring along a couple of propane cylinders also.

Fuel seems cheaper down there so I may have to fill them before Saturday.

That is perfect we always seem to have just enough propane tanks.

True. Esp the big forge uses a lot of fuel. Of all your forges, I like that one best. It does take more fuel to heat, but it's big enough for 2 billets / blades without risking burning them to a crisp. And it's so big that the internal heat will bring a billet / blade back to forging temp in a very short amount of time.

I’ll be coming from OKC, not sure if that helps, thehattr? I’m in the same boat though, looking to carpool and help offset the rental car cost a little.
