Once there was a tour bus full of fine Minnesota women heading down into Iowa to visit Decorah. Now Decorah Iowa is known as the geographic center of Scandihoovia in the midwest and Luther College is famous for it's library collection. It's a hotbed of Norwegian expatriate culture. They have a genuine Gutenberg Bible that can be viewed. It's a massive work, heavy in the style of thick paper and printed pages one at a time. A rare piece. Originally Posted by spazola

How about a short story from Betty White's character 'Rose' from the TV show 'The Golden Girls'---my mom Loved that show.
