    I also did some work.

    Top to bottom:
A damascus project I spent 2 days on, only to hammer the final billet flat IN THE WRONG DIRECTION!!!!
Which was a real @#$% moment but shit happens. It'll still look like something. Just not what I had in mind.

The next 3 are a multibar damascus: 4 bars of 18 layers. 2 twisted clockwise, the others counter clockwise. 1 razor was made from the bar, the other two are from the same bar, but I twisted the entire bar backwards a couple of times.
No idea yet what it will look like, but should be decent. This was basically a 'goofing off with damascus' project, all done by hand.

The next one is a simple 45 layer damascus razor I made from a piece I brought with me (an offcut).
The final one was made by Howard during a different meet. Randy gave it to me. I am going to finish it, and then do something with it as discussed with Randy

To help me with all the twisting, I used Charlie's scrap pile to make the Cyberdyne systems Twistinator T-800

I also forged a bunch of razors in W2 steel. These are for experimenting with Daniel O Connor's heat treatment products for making a hamon. I learned a lot from Daniel in a short time and gave me some valuable tips.

And I forged a couple of kitchen knives as well. The bigger ones are all W1. The little one is from W2. I forged them basically because at several times the weather was pretty cold, and the shop is unheated. The forge is an excellent space heater. Plus forging is just tons of fun. And during most of these forgings, someone was overlooking the process to see how one gets from a 3/8 thick bar to a 1/8 thick blade without waste or having to correct things.

To summarize most of the days: I lit the forge in the morning, I turned it off in the evening, and in between I spent as much time forging as I could, because I could

I also made a twisted damascus paring knife for Tim, with a piece of his personal damascus billet. I took the damascus, twisted it, forged a knife, and ground it. Daniel did the heat treatment with his no-scale clay. I don't have any pics of this. Tim could you post a pic?
