Well it was a year ago that I put in my leave request so I could attend this year. I have my leave, but I will be puttering at home. I have a good many projects. I have to admit that projects with all you guys, and building the hammer with Charlie afterwards, was a hell of a lot more fun than working in my shed alone. It is the times. We will get beyond this. Randy can do his not quite annual cat hearing next year I hope. I look forward to our next get together. I feel the next one will be pretty epic for all of us. In the mean time stay safe!

I think that if it was a few weeks later in the year we'd have a better chance of not driving in blizzards in one or both of the directions. We've been really lucky with the weather during the meets though.

Plus, it might work that I could go directly to the Wuertz meet after leaving Texas.

Just stay an extra week, Vic. Charlie totally doesn’t mind.

Well, it seems that the Wuertz meet is the second weekend in March, but they never post the date until after New years so it's always a guess.

I couldn't afford to rent a car for a month. To add insult to injury 'Big Shave Southwest' was two weeks after Wuertz'. In 2019 I attended all three and planned to do the same in 2020, but 'Big Shave SW' was canceled. It makes for a lot of windshield time.
