Thanks Randy!
Needless to say I think all of us are really looking forward to this.

I am going to cut and paste those dates to a vacation request.
Ok found it. You know I’m in
Thanks Randy, I’ll be submitting my leave request today too.
Im seriously thinking of making this one. Even Swmbo said to go.
In! Thanks Randy! Thanks Charlie!
Thanks, Pete.
Yes, Vic. You do have something to do with it. Now if you can find room in your car for me. Hint, Hint. Ha.
We will see as it gets closer but I'm in need of some time away and hopefully by then all will be going smoother in my life. My little car couldn't hold all the stuff I think you take every year.
I might even upgrade to the comfort Inn......:rofl2:
Count me in!
I’m with you Tim, I may need to try the Comfort Inn too. Though we had a good night at the Twilite hanging out and sharing stories with the guys.
Life is too short for not being comfortable while we have a chance. I’ll know within a month if I can make it.
I should be in as well.
This needs to be considered
Our vaccines will supposedly run out in 6 months. I don't think anyone knows for sure.
If a booster is not available that will cover February we will not be attending. Bon and I are in agreement on this .
When we make our reservation we will pay a little extra for a 100% refund should we decide to cancel.
Never thought about this
I asked my Doctor about the possibility that the vaccines only last 6 months.
He told me that the vaccines have only been in use for 6 months (including 90 days of trials) so people are assuming that is how long they last due to the of lack of any longer data, 8 months in people will say that the vaccines only last for 8 months.
It sounds like there shouldn't be too much to worry about, after all there has been such a big push to vaccinate as many people as possible that i don't see how that could be repeated even annualy.
I imagine I will have to show my immunization certificate to get over the border. I’m hoping I don’t have to get a booster before then. February will be six months from my second shot.
You make a good point Dave. I'm thinking that no one really knows where we will be with regards to Covid in February.
It goes without saying that the story of how this virus finally pans out will only be known in the far future when looking back on it.
I don't think that anyone really knows how long the vaccine is effective yet.
I've read that it hasn't been around long enough to tell.
Hopefully we will be approaching or at herd immunity by then.

Everyone should be wearing an N95 while grinding etc. anyway.:)
Pfizer said this pm that a third shot may be necessary in the next 12 months
Wonderful
I got Pfizer
Now good food and N95's don't go well together!
That would be the hard part!
I just saw this. Attachment 331460

I too got the Pfizer. At least they are trying to keep us updated.
I got Pfizer too. I'm betting that all of the vaccines are going to be the same with regards to the need of boosters.
It's my understanding that the Flu shot variety varies from year to year so the vaccines are never the same. I would think that we'll end up getting different shots for both.
When I was in boot camp we didn't get combo shots, for example on one day we got the Tetanus shot AND the Typhoid shot on the same day at the same time but in different arms. That in itself is a story of it's own. :w
I read Israel has said the Pfizer vaccine is no good for the South African variant
I think we have a long way to go on these vaccines
Great I got the Pfizer too
I concur but at least there are vaccines constantly being researched.
I worked with a guy (Steve) who came down with Polio two weeks before the vaccine was released. While he was never in an iron lung, his left arm's bicep was about the size of my forearm by the wrist, his right bicep was about the size of my thigh! He used his left arm to steady boxes then used his right to power it up into place.
He didn't have any patience with anti-vaxers. Another guy who worked with us was marrying a gal who was an anti-vaxer and Steve invited her to his parents home to listen to his mother tell of the agonizing serious of events while he lay on deaths bed.
She declined but never ever mentioned not getting her kids vaccinated again.
Come flu season again, it will most likely be a part of the regular flu shot offered. Remember that c19 is another flu strain.
