Guys, this is sounding really cool. I'm going to bring a big box of stuff with me that I use for honing and restoration. There will be more experienced hands there, but I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have.

Thanked: 1587Sounds like you guys are going to have a great time! Don't forget to take cameras (or maybe even camcorders) - the rest of us want to see everything you get up to.

I just carved two sets of walnut scales and one set of white oak. I will be putting an epoxy resin finish on two of them tomorrow and an oil rub finish on one of the walnut scales. Hopefully someone can give me a primer on pinning them to a blade. Then I will move onto zebrawood.

Are ther going to be any venders with stock? I am just curious how well I should pack the wallet. There are a couple of things I have been looking for and would like to be able to see and touch before purchase mainly a brush.

Ugh. Bad news guys:
My plans (babysitter) for this weekend fell through, so I won't be able to make it to this event. Sorry... but it sounds like you will all have a great time. I regret not being able to meet a bunch of you guys this time around. That just means we'll have to schedule another one some day!
