Thread: 1st Ever Hawaii Get Together

For the five of us that are here in Hawaii, its time to finally meet up and get to know everybody. We are tentatively planning on this Saturday, 12 April around 1:00 in the Pearl City area. I will be PMing the five known Hawaii guys in the next day or two to pass the final details.

Gee Shaun I will be there at the end of May. We could get a drink or something while there I suppose.

I happen to know of a couple of tour guides that accept str8 razors for their services... (just kidding of course)

are any of you out on Kauai? we are going next year, although we plan on spending one day at pearl harbor this time.

All of us that I know of any way are on Oahu. My family and I will be going to Kauai this summer, we've heard nothing but rave reviews about it.

Hey Shaun, this is the second...no third get together. The first was over Mt. Dew where two members met to discuss their disease caused my this RAD we hear so much about. Then there was the second...outside Ruby Tuesdays... Wait can two members getting together to chat razors be called a "get together"?

I don't know how much traffic this forum gets; less than it should, I think.

If you click on Community on the main page, then scroll down to Members, you'll get a big list of everyone. At the upper right corner of that list you'll see the words Search Members. If you click then scroll down you'll get the Advanced search, in which you can search by location. I found 12 members in Hawaii that way, and most of them had been active recently. Your best bet is to PM each of them and tell them about this thread; see if you can get something going. You can use the Poll feature to vote on a date like Glen did for the Pacific Northwest meetup.

Good luck finding your like-minded shavers! I live hours from the nearest known one.

Thanks roughkype. I am glad there are old timers around to keep us newb's straight. When I get back to the islands I will do just as you suggested.
