As all of you are now quite aware, there has been several 'gatherings' of gentlemen, all who are addicted or should i say obsessed with straight razor shaving, i say this in jest but we all know what we are like when it comes to our various disorders with regards to aquisition.

I myself will be attending one such gathering in Asheville this weekend and am more excited about the collection of like minded souls who will appear there , to discuss our hobby and gain new friendships with this event. Now Im sure this has happened at the gatherings that have already taken place with much success and Im sure all of us who have met face to face now feel better with knowing who we are talking to.

My point here is to publically say thank you to all of you who have taken the time to create, donate and organise everything that has taken place at these events. We are all Im sure grateful of the oppurtunity to get together and enjoy ourselves but without direction and organisation we would all be alot less fortunate in the social side of this hobby.

So in a nut-shell, to all of you who have had any hand in any of the goings on in this great country and across the pond, you have my respect, admiration and gratitude and most of all my thanks.
