Ah, now that there is a member list, I'm going to post various items I'll be bringing that might get involved in demo's. This may help others in deciding what they want to bring.

Hones: Norton 220/1k, King 220/1k, "unknown Nakayama," Coti/bbw (at least one) + slurry stone, Asagi (jnat), Thuringian (vintage), C12k

Cleaning: MAAS, Synthetic Steel wool (I forget gauges, but I think 0, 000, 0000), toothpicks, qtips

Razors: Well, I'll bring whatever I think is interesting, but you can rest assured you'll see some big wedges.

As I said before, I'd be happy to demo how I use anything I bring, and I'll answer questions to the best of my ability. (I don't know anything about pyramids, but I do use circles and X's.)

I am not going to bring my camera, because my camera case will be filled with razor things. It would be great if someone could bring a camera, and if you can bring a video camera that would be even better.

Thanks again to the organizers. I can't wait to see my old friends, new friends, and future friends.

Holli, If you want to park in Westchester you can probably find a spot near my apartment if you don't want to drive in.

I dunno about anyone else, but I'd be interested in seeing a pinning demo, or even just how to tighten up scales that are getting loose.

Thanks for the heads up on parking, but I don't think I'll want to take the train. Unless you mean you're driving and I can ride with you... (not to invite myself)

A re-pinning demo could be cool. Rob and I have been working on some re-scaling. Hopefully we can get some scales ready this week and, if so, I'll wait to pin them at the meet. Might be more of an example of what NOT to do, but we'll see. We had brass rod and the adjustable pins so we can show both of those to people.

On that note, maybe we'll bring over some of the other materials we've been using. Not the heavy stuff, but we just bought a whole bunch of scale and wedge materials so maybe we'll bring them just to show to folks.

    Rob, wanna chime in?
