For sure. Being that I don't have much at this early stage, I planned on bringing all I had. Also, I put a few nicks in my strop so I wouldn't feel comfortable using someone elses. I was hoping to get some tips on repairing some of the damage I did to my strop.
I'm so glad you guys put this together. Thanks alot.

Oh yea, something that I'm not sure got mentioned, but def bring your own brush if you want to shave. I do usually shave right after showering, and soap/cream is technically soap, but still, my brush goes all over my face. Also, if I do nick myself, I'll relather over it for the next pass, so there has without a doubt been blood on my brush and I have not sterilized it.
I know in barber shops strops are a sticking point because of sanitation as well, but I don't usually worry about using others strops. Then again, I have only used my own stop and the strops of members I know and trust...

Quick question for you guys:
Will you have internet access?
If so, we would love to get a live feed of your event!
Let me know.

Uh...... I haven't the faintest idea where to begin with something like that.... If someone who's coming knows what they're doing, chime in and offer your services. If not, everyone else will just have to wait for photos we post after the meet.
On another note - if you guys are bringing razors, strops, brushes, etc. and you're worried about germs, you ought to bring stuff for cleaning things to your standards. I'm gonna try to bring some rubbing alcohol for others to use, but whether this is sufficient or not is your decision. The best idea is bring whatever you might want to use.
As for cleaning strops or brushes, I don't even know where to begin and I've certainly gotten blood on both...Last edited by BingoBango; 02-12-2010 at 10:25 PM.

Sanitation isn't a big concern of mine. I plan on using my own strop, razor, brush Etc. I guess if the shave readiness of the blades came into question, an alcohal swabbing would be sufficient for me.
As for the internet, it's New York, so I would be surprised if you were able to jump on to someone elses signal. Shoot, the venue might very well have it's own internet connection, so bringing a laptop might not be a bad idea.

Thanked: 3I have a small laptop with a webcam on it that I can bring just in case there is an internet connection. If there is it can be streamed through Justin.tv - Live Video and Chat for Everyone
Guests don't have to register to view it and I think they can chat too but I'm not positive on that one.
