Fort Lee Meet
There has been discussion about a Fort Lee meet. If it happens, I will try to attend and, as at the NYC meet, I'll voulenteer to bring stuff again and demo anything I bring as best I can.
I am not stepping up to organize or plan the meet, though. I'll just do what people ask as best I can.
I have found that the best way is someone steps up, says they will organize, then they just pick a date, time, and location and that is that. Trying to get everyone to agree takes a long time, and, unfortunately, there will be conflicts. Two words "Future Meets."

I wanted to come to the meet in New York but I just missed it! It looked pretty awesome judging by the pics and the area you got was also really nice for the price. So is anyone working to plan another one? I also checked meetup.com and there is no shaving group in nyc. So how about making a forum for new york as a geographic location or a thread that's dedicated to meets in the new york area? If there already is one please direct me to it. Also I'm pretty new but I if anyone wants help with organizing another meet in the nyc area I would like to volunteer myself. My name is Ethan.

Well, this thread is supposed to be dedicated to the Ft Lee Meet, but nothing seems to be doing.
New threads appear in this area of the forum for each meet - best bet is to check here every time you log in.

I'm sorry I've not posed in this thread or answered PM's regarding a meet in Fort Lee. I was away on business since 2/21. My return was delayed due to the heavy snow conditions here in the NE. It really sucks being stranded at an airport 2000 miles from home. At least I was able to get into the airport hotel so I did not have to sleep in a terminal.
Anyway on to the subject. I can obtain access to a very nice room which can accommodate up to 75 people with parking. I will participate as much as I can but we should start with a date.
I think we should wait for the weather to clear up a bit which at this point would be sometimes in April or May.
I will get an idea on the availability of the room this week and let everyone know.
As far as organizing goes, I'm not sure what that I have the time right now to take this on alone. My daughter is college shopping and I've been traveling quite a bit on business.
