Thanked: 13245Pacific NW / Inland NW / Western Canada - Meet Up
Guys I think there are enough people interested in a meet and greet in our area to get one together....
Spokane is the Central point for our area, and I am pretty sure we can meet at one of the restaurants downtown with out any hassel...
Now my first thoughts are for the date of Sunday September 26th so we have some time to plan and I would love to meet at Sushi.com downtown Spokane since I don't get to enjoy Sushi in North Idaho all that often...I just called them they are open 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and happy to have us there all day.....I have no problem bringing Stones and Tools to do some Demos of Honing and some light Restoration stuff...
It is 3 hours from Yakima WA, Missoula MT or Creston BC
It is a 4 hour drive from Seattle WA or Kallispell MT or Cranbrook BC
It is 5 hours from Tacoma WA,
It is 6 hours from Portland OR, or Vancouver WA
Drive times from Google Maps so you can figure out if you can make it there...
Let me know what you guys think????
Let's keep it simple and FREE, so it actually happens, the only cost should be Eats, Drinks, and TIPS for the restaurant staff...

How far are you from Spokane, Glen? I have cousins there and maybe could combine a visit to them with a meet or something... actually, I'm flying out Friday to see my sister in Leavenworth for a chamber music performance, then spending a few days with aunt/uncle in Spokane... lovely area...
...anyway, I won't make it this fall, but sometime I would LOVE to come to a Pacific Northwest meet!

Mmmm, bad luck for me. I'll be back at school then (making it about 7 hours instead of six) and it doesn't look like I'm going to have a car anytime soon either. All in all I can't do it this time. Hope those that can go have fun though!

Sounds like a plan. I'll have to see about getting a little time off but it'd be great to finally get something together.
Put me down as a tentative for now and I'll see what I can work out.
If there's anything I can do to help let me know (even though it sounds like you've got it pretty well figured out there G.
