Thread: Fall 2010 Michigan Meet

Hi Group,

I have spoken with some of my fellow Michiganders about a fall meet.

I am willing to host the meet. I live in Clarkston Michigan, which is about 1/2 way between Pontiac and Flint.

We can do show and tell, honing, repair, scale making or just razor fellowship. Certainly grilling will be involved.

I have a very well stocked woodworking shop including belt and disc sander, large wood lathe, band saw, drill press, buffers etc.

So far, in some of the date discussions, we are looking at Saturday, October 9th, probably from 11:00 am until I can get you all to leave.

So let me know what kind of interest and availability we have and we will go from there.

I just stumbled across this thread. I knew about the meet but didn't know it had been posted. I'll send out some PM's tonight to try and generate some interest. This is a nice location for S.E. Michigan and a very gererous offer to host by Alembic

The last get together was a lot of fun. I hope I can make it. Maybe I can recruit a carload of Buckeyes to make the trip.

Hmm.. I will have to talk it over with the boss about this one since I had to miss the last one due to work sending me out last minute.

Ouch! I just can't do it. The last one this summer happened to coincide with my trip to Grand Rapids but it gets expensive travelling there from NH too often. I see some of the guys who were there have responded. Hope you all have as great a time as we did the.

That's it. You DESERVE to go to a meet. You DESERVE to learn some new skills. You DESERVE to share some old ones. You DESREVE to buy a new Fillarmonica Doble Temple No14 (did I go too far with that last one)
