For a group of folks who have to shave as much as we do, why not start spreading the word, and see who is interested in starting a shaving club. If we all get together, I'm sure someone knows something, if not enough, about honing. Any takers?

    Hi all,

I'd love to join the group, unfortunately i'm currently stationed in Belle Chasse, LA. Lokking to move to Cherry Point next, so hopefully if all goes well with your group, then i'd be more than willing to join you. However, i do have a question. Has any military wise, considered taking their straight on a deployment, and used it as a daily shaver? I considered it, but not sure if i'd be able to make the time, with such a high Ops tempo. Any ideas, please let me know.

I used mine while deploye....I found it easier to shave with because the straight wouldn't get gunked up with crap like dirt and face camo...But, I can shave about as fast with a straight as someone can with a multiblade..

That makes a lot of sense. Tanks for the advice, and just think if you nick yourself bad enough...you could probably tack it up to a "war scar". lol
