Hell or high water, I'll be there; but I am extremely disheartened that it cannot be at BJ's place. I sincerely hope for a speedy recovery from any and all issues you are facing. After all, you're going to want to host for 2012, aren't you?
Lynn, we can shoot off of your back porch too, right? As long as I get enough quality time with your dog Stella, I guess I'll be happy.

FWIW.... what we need to avoid is setting a date that conflicts with other Razor Meets. AFAIK there is a Wisconsin Razor Meet scheduled for April 23.
Mike Blue and I are trying for a Minnesota Razor Meet in May.
The end of May is Memorial Day. So it looks like the first weekend in June would be the earliest for a Mid-Mo Razor Meet? Before the weather gets to hot? There may be other dates scheduled for other Razor Meets, I have not checked.

I think I am developing MAD - Meet Attending Disorder. I'd love to make it to a MO meet, and another MN meet. And every meet, really.

The asheville meet has been held the first weekend in june the past 3 years, though I have not heard the latest plans for the next one yet

I have third hand word that Asheville is not going to happen this year.
After last year, I sort of suspected it wouldn't so:

First weekend in June works out fine for me. We can do razor stuff all day Saturday as well as go to the shooting range either Sat. or Sun. Breakfast Sunday. Sat. night we can do the Big Green Egg. If you guys need local hotels, let me know. Most are 5 minutes from the house. Maybe we can even figure out how to do a webcast of you guys honing and restoring razors here.
BJ, please come down if you can.
