Looks like we're on guys.

I have two extra bedrooms and a couple couches. Floor will be available. Not much of a yard for camping though.

Tons of hones at your disposal as well as some buffers and a Bader for those of you who bring steel and want to grind. No heat treating equipment at this time.

Bring video stuff and we can do bunches of help stuff for the new guys. I have a new little Bloggie, but don't know how to use it yet..........

This should be a lot of fun. Definitely some BBQ in the picture as well as the shooting range.

OK guys.....June 4th and 5th. I live in Cape Girardeau, MO 63701. I can accomodate a couple guys on 2 single beds and a couple on the couches and a couple on the floor. There are a ton of Motels within 5 minutes of the house. We may end up making some razors if Charlie brings his kiln and there will be BBQ and some shooting and honing and give aways and fun for all.

Let us know if you are coming.

I've got in my calender with every single intention of coming. I've got a shorter drive than most so get in touch if there's a need for something.

Right now I'm planning on coming down Friday night and leaving Sunday. If it's alright with Lynn I'll prob just crash in a tent. There should be plenty of room for at least one other if not two people in it if needed.

Lynn was not kidding when he said his yard will not accomodate many tents. It's got a bit of a slope to it!

Given the number of people who will likely come to this, I wonder if it might be worthwhile to work out a group discount rate with one of the nearby motels? It might be possible to set up a bidding war among them if there are a sizable number of people involved. When the date gets closer and there is a better sense of the number of people coming, it might be worth it to try that. Of course, by then, Lynn might have come to his senses and rented out a conference hall!
