    Default Great time!!

Thank you very much to Glen and Travis for sharing their time and expertise. It was great!!

If any of you wannabe honers get the opportunity for a hands on face-to-face experience with a true expert it is well worth your time. Do it at the next opportunity.

Now how about those pictures 'how you HHT', 'how you set the bestest bevel angle'?

Hey guys, finally posting after yesterday's slow drive home--lots of construction on 70.

More thanks to Don for bringing the prizes--I'll use the strop this evening, and shave with the blade I polished on your Charnley. It'll be nice to have an extra hanging strop; it'll live in my camper, where I live and shave during the workweek.

Thanks also to the guys who brought cameras, and of course to Glenn and Travis for sharing their honing wisdom. I'm glad I brought a notebook!

And if anyone wonders, the pizza was great at the Garlic Knot.

I'm really glad I got to handle those top-end TIs. It's a relief that the scales are too wide where they pass between my outermost two fingers; now I don't need to worry about buying one. Not that I won't try out a lesser TI at some point, one cheap enough that I can go ahead and file finger notches into the scales.

Great time--it was great to meet all you guys and I look forward to next year's meeting. Best wishes to all.
