    Default VIRGINIA GET TOGETHER ANNOUNCEMENT

    I am planning on having an informal Get Together at my place in Fairfax on the 12 or 13.

    Let me know if anyone is interested. If anyone wants to come by either day, that would be fine too. Wife is out of town that weekend.

    Let's see if we can generate a little interest!!

    Alan, I'd really like to join you and some others for some Gentlemenly discussion and use of some razors and hones. Those days sound good for me too, but on the Saturday date I'd be only able to attend after 5-6pm. Pm me for further details, and perhaps some other DC area would join in too. Thanks-John

    Last night I had the privilege of attending one of Alan’s informal get togethers. For those who’ve never attended one of these sessions, you don’t know what you’re missing. I personally learned a tremendous amount. Alan was exceedingly generous with his knowledge, time, and equipment. Alan also provided a honing demonstration (even sharpening some of our razors), tightened pins in a few loose razors we brought, lapped one of my stones, provided advice on stropping and many other shaving related topics, and even fed us dinner! I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the individuals on SRP and Alan is yet another example. Thanks Alan for hosting a great event!
