If you man the grill I'll eat the food. That's my God given talent!

Hi, this is Mike from Logan Utah. I am new to the Str8 razor place and to straight shaving. I want to learn more. I am looking for locals that I can meet up with to chat about razors. I am a blacksmith and want to start making 18th century razors. I would like to learn more about razor geometry, honing, use etc before I start forging blades. I also need help making and installing scale. If there is anyone interested in meeting up and giving me a hand I would appreciate it.
    Thanks.

Hey Brother, I don't know if we have any members up in Cache valley-- but I would be more than happy to meet up with you sometime. Next time your down in SLC you can just stop by the barber shop, or we can arrange a time to meet up somewhere. I won't be able to help you out with any aspects of blade forging, but I'd love to teach you anything I can about honing, scales, pinning, shaving, etc..

Just send me a PM, if you're interested, and we'll get this ball rolling. BTW, are you currently shaving with a straight?
