    Default Soap samples?

I ended up with one of the soap samples Glenn handed out, but missed where/who they came from. Does anybody know the details?

Good time yesterday. Always gain knowledge and meet nice people.

    Coloshaver (and all),

I'm certain those were Mike's Soaps. Good stuff.

Also, I was asked by several people about the AS my friend Brian donated for the get together. You can get more info on it at: Krampert's Finest. Just Google search it.

I had a great time. Glad I brought the wife too as she got to hang out with Mike's wife and another nice lady that was there. I'm sure they told some interesting stories about us and our hobby. grin.

As always: great bunch of guys, great time, learned tons (and I had less stupid questions than my first year!), and I want to buy more stuff.

I think we should have another mini-meet up in the dead of winter. It's just too much fun to do only once a year. And even if only 3-4 of us could attend, it would still be a nice mid-winter diversion.

Thanks to all for the great time.

    John

Whoever's soaps they were, I came home with a Bigelow cream, small green tube with menthol and eucalyptus oil. It rocked my face today! Fantastic stuff. Enormous thanks to the donor. It worked so well I even did the back of my neck with it. I've never claimed to have achieved a BBS face, but came closest to it today.

Thanks also to Nightblade for letting me flatten my Charnley on his new 3 x 8 DMT325. It did a nice job breaking in his DMT, too!

And thanks to Mike and family for putting me up Saturday night and that big breakfast Sunday morning. They have the coolest two dogs in Denver.

As always, thanks to Glen for sharing his expertise. We're glad you've got a sister in Denver, and another reason for the looong drive.

It was a blast and, as usual, time just goes by way too fast. A mini-meet would be a lot of fun and I would love to attend.

First off I want to send a big thank you out to the Garlic Knot for letting us meet there again. Thanks to Glen for coming down and showing us all his secrets, to Tim for coordinating it all and a thank you to everyone who brought door prizes. I was lucky enough to make it home with one of the Krampert's Finest Bay Rum AS samples and used it this morning. Very nice. I think I am going to have to order some for my FIL and BIL as stocking stuffers for Christmas.

I need to apologize in advance because my tiny brain was only able to retain one or two names with faces(mainly caused the rest of the brain was crammed with honing info) But the nice fellow who gave me the Pinaud citrus musk,I really like it.Question to all you guys who filled me in on the wd40 for blades. Can ya spray down into the pivot or leave it on scales on accident or will it melt anything over time ? Again apologies for face with name forgetfulness. If it makes anybody feel any better though,I work as a house dad for a large condo complex...unless someone does something wrong,I can barely remember names and apartment numbers half the time it seems.............Mind like a well oiled rusty trap !! Y'all rock guys !!

    Men,

I too had a great time, and thankfully (as it makes it ever easier to do it again) SWMBO also had a wonderful time.

Between Johna2231's wife, 2005fxr's wife and mine, who all ran off to go shopping mid way through, all appeared to have a great time also which made it just that much better.

The knowledge transfer and sharing of gifts and stories was great, and I look forward to the next honing party in my kitchen, eheheh.

Sorry Travis wasn't able to come this year, It was great when we all got together this past summer.

To those whom I met for the first time, it was a pleasure, and to those whom I met last year, it was good to see you all again!

Until we can meet again gentlemen!!

Just don't ask me how I feel about automatic arms!
