I saw that you were on the agenda, that was one of the big reasons to go for me. Are there vendors or collectors that buy/sell/trade? I am looking for some hones and razors to feed my HAD/RAD.

I wish you hadn't posted the link. Sadly I now know what I'll be missing. Looks to be very interesting.

There should be some vendors there. Let me know what stones you may want to try out and I'll try to bring them for you to play with.

I have a Norton 1K/8K combo, and have been using honing film on a surface plate with decent results, but I want something around 4K and 10-12K. It is too easy to slice the honing film if I don't go spine first on the stroke.

I've added this to the SRP Calendar. Too far a trip for me, but looks like a heap-o-fun!

I'll be headed over Friday. If any of you are around for dinner let me know. If not, see you Saturday at the event. Looks like a lot of people are going to be there this year with a lot of eye candy.
