I did not have the opportunity to get to know Bela. I can't say I remember any of his posts. I looked him up on the membership page and I am all the more saddened by his passing at so young an age. To me, he was just entering the prime time of life, the time when you can pursue your desires with out interruptions. My condolences go out to his family and to all the SRP members that had the privilege of knowing him. Peace.

I'm saddened by the news. Bela had great taste and he was a skilled photographer. I always enjoyed his SOTD pics. RIP Bela.

I've only been on the board a year or so, but I know he was a big fan on the SOTD just like me and I will miss his contributions to it. Prayers and condolences to his family.

Thanked: 4942Hi Guys,
I am simply blown away by this. Bela's wife did a write up and wanted it posted here. This is very special that she would do this. I was in tears reading it.
Dearest Friends,
Although we have never met and I even do not know your fulll names, I was aware and experienced daily how important and indispensable were all of you for my late husband, Bela.
He was excited whenever he posted a photo on Facebook, and he was looking forward to reading your reflections and opinions on that.
You have been making him happy, since you admired his experience and intellectual acumen. We were both deeply moved by your empathy and encouragements for his recovery.
He had been struggling for long, then the illnes won. He lost his battle.
In the last few hours of his life I held him in my arms, we were talking and then he fell asleep. He left us in peace and harmony without pain. His last hours were more beautiful than a Zefirelli-made film.
I would like to express my gratitude and thankfullness for your remembrance with appreciation, love and friendship!
His wife,
Kati
