My condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting him last month. He came to deliver a gift from Bushmaster in person and I showed him the most interesting stones of my collection. He told a few anekdotes and was able to name 3 of my mystery stones. I should have written the names down, but he gave enough info for me to look them up.
I especially admire him for his bicycle wheel lapping contraption and his ability to get free stones with limited knowledge of foreign languages. Iirc he said his collection was around 350 stones big, mighty impressive!
Looking forward to part 5.Last edited by Piet; 11-24-2014 at 07:42 PM.

Thanked: 4830My condolences. He was a man with a passion for knowledge that he shared freely. I hope you can continue with his work, as time may permit. I am happy to have had the opportunity to read his research.
