    My sincere condolences.

Even though I really didn't know him, I'm saddened by the loss of one of our members.

I know you were close with him Cuda, and I wish you well as you move forward from this loss.

The lamps are a fitting tribute.

That is very sad news Roy. Thank you for your tribute. My condolences to his friends and family. Like many, I only knew him from his forum posts. Though too young, it looks like he had a good and rewarding life, held in high esteem by friends and family. I will make it my duty to always "look sharp and smell nice for the ladies".
    Rest in peace shaving brother.

I am another who didn't know him personally but only acquainted through posts. Sorry to hear of his passing and also for the hole his being gone will leave in your life Roy. On the bright side it sounds like he lived his life the way he saw fit until his number came up then passed quickly without long suffering. I pray for all who held him dear, not least of which you Roy. It is obvious that your friendship meant a lot to you from the tribute.
Sorry to see you leave. Go softly old boy.

This is very sad news indeed. I'm sorry for your loss Roy - he was obviously a true friend and brother.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanks for posting the news. I only knew him through his posts and that signature quote. My sympathies to those that were close to him.

Roy, the shared interest in lamps and your tribute have me thinking of the hymn Let the Lower Lights Be Burning.

Thanks for sharing the hymn, very nice. Here's a simple version of it by a man who I really enjoyed his music.
