Default Leftover Lather As Initial Post Shave?

I do my Shaving a bit different from the Norm as I have always Shaved first then Showered after as it is how I've always done it.

One of the things I started doing when I first started Wet Shaving was to use my leftover lather all over my head and face prior to cleaning up/putting away my gear and then I hit the showernto finish up. I've found that the same properties the lather brings to help you shave also works tremendously well for a quick Post Shave.

Just wondering if anyone else does this and what their experience/results were like...

    Same as Pixel.

Used a puck of VDH for a shower. Skin really liked the soap.

I too shower after my shave. It is part of the process of getting cleaned up and ready for bed. I shower after because I am not a fan of the foggy mirror.

    P.S.
Any shave soap that I buy that is not very good goes to the shower for use as body soap. It works great.

Wish I had done that with that puck of Trumpers I tossed.

For the last two years I do exactly as you say.
I use lather as initial post-shave treatment. It stops any minor minimal bleedings.
After 3-5 minutes I use the after shave. Works great.
