Headblade ATX

I just got my hands on one of these today, I wont drop any links as i don't know if that would be advertising of some sort or frowned upon, but after one use, it shaves pretty well,
but what i found to be a reason to like it is the speed i managed to get a clean head with it, great little item if your sometimes trying to move fast in the morning.

now just need to get them to start selling the blades in Europe as they are about 3 times the price over here.

I saw literally no one commented on this thread and it's been 2 days. So I'll jump in and say what the hell is that?

How is it working for you?

Im digging it, i have mostly always used safety razors on my head with a few dabbles of straights, but nicked myself pretty bad so went straight back to safety razors.
I saw a video of this thing and thought i would give it a shot.

The older version was a push razor and this newer model is more a traditional safety style of drawing.
The cute lil wheels guide it and used with low pressure it stay at a nice shaving angle.
Shaves nice and close and the thing i found it excels at is speed, great for a quick head shave in the morning shower.
Im gonna put a rough estimate on about 2 maybe 3 minutes to cover my head both directions of grain while in the shower.
Only used it twice so far but its a thumbs up from here

That's pretty quick and pretty cool if only I was a head shaver :PI've been thinking about shaving my head because I keep it at a 1/8th length anyways.

Stev I know there are several members here that use head blade products. I've used their razors for head shaving since 1999. I have tried several of the models. For me the sport three blade is the best. Saying that needs to be followed with they do not compare IMO to DE an straights. But yes for a super fast smooth dome they are my go to. They also have really good products such as lotion, head wash, scrub etc. Their grooming kit is great quality an travels with me every trip.

To bad they don't do a DE! I also shower shave my head, and recently got some headslick. really great stuff, very convenient to smear on. gets the job done. before that I was having to mush up some proraso, and it was hard to get the ratio right, and not use too much.

I dont actually use anything on my head when i shower shave, just a soapy wash, rinse then shave.

I tried the ATX but didn't have the success I've had with the sport (push blade model). For some reason, with the wheels out front I had a harder time getting close around my ears and then there's the dent where my skull meets my neck! That area was impossible to get BBS with the ATX. I researched other replacement blades to try and keep the cost down. I don't like more than two blades due to the clog factor so I use Gillette Sensor carts. Still expensive compared to DE's but the quick shave is what I'm after during the week, but it still needs to be as close to BBS as possible. The hair on my head grows in every direction so multiple passes are a must. I have to admit the ATX looks hit me like a raised 4x4 compared to the sport...... like it would climb over a weeks worth of growth, no wheel spin with that tread pattern even with Cremo.
