I find it's pretty much the same as my face, except most of it is done blind.
When I first started on my head, it felt like I was learning all over. First week, maybe two not as close as the DE, but once I learned my melons shape, it's second nature.
Use two hands to recognize the angle in the blind spots. Also to learn distance of razor tip from things like ears.
Hair on my head has many more folicals than a similar area on my face. Thus shorter strokes on the head than face.
Don't be shy to grab and tug your ears. For some reason I originally had a hands off attitude on my ears; you can't stare through them.
For me, the laziest part to get close is behind the ears in the crease of the "sausage roll" at the back of me head. I'll left hand/right side and right hand/left side back there.
My face may not atg, but back of the head I always do.Last edited by dirtychrome; 01-21-2011 at 05:00 AM.
