    Default Dan's True Hard Arkansas

Here is a custom cut 10x3x1" beautiful slab of true Hard Arkansas. Also known as coloured translucent.

I don't have the patience to burnish it. Although it's a beautiful stone for me the time it takes to break in the surface annoys me. I'm more of an instant results type of man. A very short attention span combined with a lack of patience for these things makes my home a stone motel. Many check in and few stay forever.

Oh well this leaves a one of a kind stone to somebody.

    Asking $300 + shipping.

Alternatively if you've got a boxed scotch dual hone I'd be willing to let it go stone for stone.

    Pm if interested.

You can use a 400 Atoma to freshen it up before every use, as a pre-finisher.

And it works as a wonderful large surface for Nagura slurry with water. But for some reason a Koma won't shed a single particle - it must be too hard. Soft Naguras work best.

I would like to purchase this stone. I have some questions, but for some reason I can't PM you.

It appears he is choosing not to receive PMs. Perhaps it is a glitch, but that is the message I got when I tried to inform him of your wish to buy the stone.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
