Thread: Brand new Nakayama Deep Stratum $60

Nakayama Deep Stratum Japanese Natural Sharpening Stone. 6.5" X 3" X 3/8" or 10mm 309 grams. This was a recent impulse buy off the bay. I would have kept it if it was used but being it is new its really too small for my needs which are honing razors on a daily basis. This would be perfect for an occasional user, say once or twice a month, then it will last a longtime. Does have some chips on all 4 corners and a chunk missing from the rear, check out the pictures. I just got it today and touched up my daily razor on it and I really like it, the speed was a little above average. Great feedback and an unparalleled finish on the edge. So maybe not brand new but close to it, like I said, I used it once today to do a touch-up.
One of the best finishes you will get from a jnat.
