Oozuku Kiita Koppa with Tomo Nagura
Selling a few surplus stones to replenish the vacation fund! This offering:
A very nice Oozuku Kiita Koppa, approx. 140mm x 73mm x 12mm, 326g. The included Tomo Nagura is approx. 24mm x 21mm x 16mm, 22g.
This is a moderately hard stone, maybe LV5, that is a very easy finisher with both slurry and water. You can use it with a Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (it might self-slurry with harder Nagura, but I have not had a problem with it). I generally use it as a final finisher, with Tomo slurry diluted to pure water, but will also use it with a Mejiro Nagura when traveling. This is a very comfortable stone for hand honing. The Toishi has been sealed with cashew lacquer. This Toishi was originally purchased from Garrett (JNATS on this forum) at Japanese-Whetstones.com, the Tomo is from my collection.

Thanked: 59I had one of these and can attest to it's abilities. Plus you get the highly desirable colors in this one. And the price is far lower than what I paid for mine. This is a win-win-win stone!
