Thread: Nakayama Asagi Suita with Tomo Nagura

Selling a few surplus stones to replenish the vacation fund! This offering:

A very nice Nakayama Asagi Suita, approx. 215mm x 51mm x 16mm, 423g. The included Tomo Nagura is approx. 65mm x 39mm x 19mm, 138g.

This is a hard stone, LV5+ that is a super finisher with both slurry and water. You can use it with a Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression with no problem. I mainly use it as a final finisher, with Tomo slurry diluted to pure water; but use it with the full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression for Kamisori. It does not self slurry. It is very comfortable in the hand, and works great on a pad of towels for 2-hand Kamisori honing. Both Toishi and Nagura have been sealed with cashew lacquer. This Toishi was originally purchased from eBay, the Tomo is from Aframes Tokyo.
