Thread: Light green Thurigian 7x2.5x3/4 razor hone

Selling one of my prized razor hones. A perfect size at 7&1/8x2.5x13/16 inch. Flawless honing surface lapped flat with Atoma 1200 and final finish with an Odori nagura. Weighs about 1.5 lbs. The back of the stone has some "skin". Using light slurry to start and finishing under running water provides a polished and smooth edge. A joy to use. This was found in the wild at an estate sell. The razor in the picture is not part of the deal. The smaller blue/green Escher is shown for size and color comparison. No slurry stone included. Cool looking stone, I'll give you that. some background on the rock might be helpful in the description as well.

Very rare to find a Thuri of this size anymore. ESPECIALLY if it's a light green. And ESPECIALLY as thick as this one.
